Hey there When I went on maternity leave, I thought I had it all figured out. (Well, the business part, not the being a new mom part - I was pretty clueless about that.) Still am actually....O_O) β But hereβs the truth: I set up automated emails to run and thought, YAY!, its all running in the background while I figure out how to sterilise a bottle and try not to strangle my husband as he takes 15 mins to warm a milk bottle .. (I digress -_-) β β β Weirdly, my engagement skyrocketed during the first three months after my delivery; people just wanted to be part of this new journey! But I kept getting the same question : 'I've bought ALL your products, do you have anything new?' 'How are your blogs still making you money while you are on maternity leave?' 'How are you still growing your blog traffic with minimal time ?' 'How do you make money on social media with just posting on your IG stories??' So instead of feeling fully present during those first few months, a part of me was stressed. I kept thinking, βIf only I had created lots of training on these questions beforeβ¦ I could send it to them now and earn lots of money from these new digital products.β What I wish I had done differently:β Forget about creating new, big, complicated courses; you just need to be ONE STEP AHEAD of your audience. When I am back from my holidays and settled in Malaysia, I am going to challenge myself by creating one simple digital product in one week. That's it. I'll put a deadline and deliver it. I'll use the exact strategies from the below, to make it easy to build and sell easily You can find out :
Because digital products donβt just make money β they create space. And sometimes, that space is worth more than any dollar amount. If youβre still waiting to start, learn from my mistake. Donβt wait for a life change (or crisis) to force you into action. Start building now, even if itβs tiny. Future You will thank you. That's all from me today; thank you for reading! Since I started my blog in 2017, the blogging world has evolved into a totally different place. For starters, Google cannot be relied upon as a 100% reliable traffic source, and AI has made it ten times easier to create content. This means that to stand out and compete in the blogging landscape, you need to do more than just write blog posts. Authenticity and trust are essential for blogging success nowadays. With these updates in mind, it's important that you aren't following and relying on...
Since returning from Ireland, I decided to kickstart my health and start clean eating. I am 37 and I have never in my entire life dieted or restricted my food, I've never needed to I've always been able to rely on exercise to maintain my weight However, since having a baby, I put on 20kg and exercise alone can't seem to shift it (It's 80% what you eat and 20% exercise, I reckon) I don't have the time I used to, so I can't spend hours and hours at the gym burning off excess calories I wanted...
I think I've been away from a corporate job for so long that I've become delusional. I was complaining that my numbers aren't where I want them to be, but then I remembered... But how many hours do you work in a corporate job ?? If you were like me 15 years ago, you worked around 14 hours a day, sometimes more. I would work through my lunch break and past 5 pm to avoid the traffic and head back at 8 pm, sometimes later. With this in mind, it's miraculous that my business is not where I want...
