Recently, I haven't had the capacity to work on my blogs much :( It's summer and family time in Ireland, my 7-month-old wants to party at 2 am and 6am, and I think I have postpartum arthritis, which makes me feel so damn tired.all. the. time. O_O This is what summer in ireland looks like by the way ! Pretty awesome. BUT I've still been able to earn significant revenue by posting on social media Social media seems much easier when I am pressed for time A quick post, a pic on my IG story, or I whip up a beautiful reel made by an easy template Doing this, I make

Back to whether blogging is dead in 2025....With Google being unkind to website owners and AI content flooding the market, is it worth having a blog at all now? YES Here's why :
I know building a blog can be a pain in the rectum (actually, THIS will make it less painful )and it's much harder to gain traction and monetise it.... but once you've built it, the income can become passive. My blogs STILL make me advertising, affiliate, and digital product income, even though I've hardly worked on the.m (full transparency, they make much less, with less attention and focus) I think social media is good for quick active income boosts, but you need to feed the beast constantly But blogging is for long-term,more passive income But you need to be patient, as it takes time to see the results Its a bit like building a rental property brick by brick, while building it, you wonder why an earth you are shoveling mud and bricks in the winter, and suddenly after all that hard work, voila, its earning you rental income! Just wanted to give you a bit of motivation incase you are stuck in the painful building phaseOr if you are on a break with blogging, like many people I know Thats the beauty of blogging, its always there if you fancy writing or penning your thoughts Then you get paid for it, which is cool. Better than most hobbies and passions I know! Thats all from me today, thanks for reading! Aisha Preece from Outandbeyond.com P.S. I am going to share my bare minimum low effort strategy to grow my blogs on my Instagram stories soon— if you want more behind-the-scenes like this, come hang out: @aishapreece PPS: Some recent pics of the glorious Irish summer! Since I started my blog in 2017, the blogging world has evolved into a totally different place. For starters, Google cannot be relied upon as a 100% reliable traffic source, and AI has made it ten times easier to create content. This means that to stand out and compete in the blogging landscape, you need to do more than just write blog posts. Authenticity and trust are essential for blogging success nowadays. With these updates in mind, it's important that you aren't following and relying on...
Since returning from Ireland, I decided to kickstart my health and start clean eating. I am 37 and I have never in my entire life dieted or restricted my food, I've never needed to I've always been able to rely on exercise to maintain my weight However, since having a baby, I put on 20kg and exercise alone can't seem to shift it (It's 80% what you eat and 20% exercise, I reckon) I don't have the time I used to, so I can't spend hours and hours at the gym burning off excess calories I wanted...
I think I've been away from a corporate job for so long that I've become delusional. I was complaining that my numbers aren't where I want them to be, but then I remembered... But how many hours do you work in a corporate job ?? If you were like me 15 years ago, you worked around 14 hours a day, sometimes more. I would work through my lunch break and past 5 pm to avoid the traffic and head back at 8 pm, sometimes later. With this in mind, it's miraculous that my business is not where I want...
