My numbers are down O_O πŸ“‰

I’ll be honest with you - my numbers have been down lately. 😱

Not because blogging β€œdoesn’t work”…

But because I haven’t actually worked on my blog.

And here’s the truth no one tells you:
πŸ‘‰
Passive income isn’t 100% passive.

Yes, digital products, affiliate sales, and blog traffic can continue to generate sales long after you hit publish.

But if you stop showing up completely?

Traffic slows. Engagement dips. Sales decline.

It’s like planting a garden:
The seeds will grow, but only if you keep watering them.

I’m sharing this because I don’t want you to fall into the same trap of thinking:

β€œI’ll set it up once and never touch it again.”

The reality is, β€œpassive” income still needs:
βœ… Fresh content to attract new readers
βœ… Consistent promotion to keep traffic flowing
βœ… Occasional updates so your products stay relevant

The beauty is, once you’ve built the foundation, the maintenance is light compared to trading hours for dollars. But it still requires intention.

So here’s my reminder (to you and to myself):
πŸ‘‰
Passive income works best when we keep actively nurturing it.

What if you want something TRULY passive that makes you money?

I would learn how to invest your money in income-generating assets that aren't too risky.

For example, even if I spend zero hours looking at

  • My blue-chip shares and ETFS consistently pay dividends
  • My cash in fixed deposits consistently pays fixed profits
  • My private equity funds payout twice a year without fail

It's set and forget

You can learn how to invest in income-generating assets here; it's perfect for beginners!

BUT, here's a reality

You need money in the first place to invest

If you don't have money?

That's all from me today; thank you for reading!

Since I started my blog in 2017, the blogging world has evolved into a totally different place. For starters, Google cannot be relied upon as a 100% reliable traffic source, and AI has made it ten times easier to create content. This means that to stand out and compete in the blogging landscape, you need to do more than just write blog posts. Authenticity and trust are essential for blogging success nowadays. With these updates in mind, it's important that you aren't following and relying on...

Since returning from Ireland, I decided to kickstart my health and start clean eating. I am 37 and I have never in my entire life dieted or restricted my food, I've never needed to I've always been able to rely on exercise to maintain my weight However, since having a baby, I put on 20kg and exercise alone can't seem to shift it (It's 80% what you eat and 20% exercise, I reckon) I don't have the time I used to, so I can't spend hours and hours at the gym burning off excess calories I wanted...

I think I've been away from a corporate job for so long that I've become delusional. I was complaining that my numbers aren't where I want them to be, but then I remembered... But how many hours do you work in a corporate job ?? If you were like me 15 years ago, you worked around 14 hours a day, sometimes more. I would work through my lunch break and past 5 pm to avoid the traffic and head back at 8 pm, sometimes later. With this in mind, it's miraculous that my business is not where I want...
