Now moving on to some DMs I’ve received recently:

‘What's the name of that hotel you stayed in, Galway, Ireland? The one with the Irish soda bread and generous portions of crab O_O We are in Ireland now, and I can't stop thinking about it. Can you send me the link?’

‘I remember you talking about that chemical-free shampoo you brought on your travels, the one where you said you don't even need conditioner anymore! Can you send me the link, please?

‘What's that baby stroller you used to travel to Ireland? The one that fits in the airplane cabin and weighs hardly anything. I want to buy it for my baby’

‘Hey, I like that hiking jacket in your IG stories, what brand is it?

'Please share the Clean Eating Bootcamp you mentioned in your previous emails! The one that helped you lose 8 kg! I need to lose weight asap!’

Every single one of these IG/ FB messages and emails resulted in an affiliate sale for my travel blog.

And every single one of these messages… didn't come from people who googled their issue, hoping to find a solution.

They came from people in my community who found me via Pinterest/Instagram or live talks/ workshops and stayed for YEARS.

I asked my audience how long they've been around in my community.
