I met a friend today for a walk. She said: “I still haven’t had time to set up a blog… but I really need to make extra money.” And honestly… That’s where most people get stuck. Not because they don’t want it, but it feels like too much to start. So I said something simple. Don’t start a blog. Write a newsletter. You can set the blog up later. Your newsletters can become your blog posts. (yeah, did you know that? Please take a look at my blog; you can see all my newsletters automatically posted there. Then I can take that and share it on FB.Pinterest, wherever, and drive more traffic to it, cool, eh? ) My blog: https://outandbeyond.com/ Then she said something that a lot of people think: “But I’m pretty average… what would I even write about?” So I asked her: “What do you enjoy?” She said: “I like running… but I’m not elite. I just like being outdoors.” So I asked: “What did you do this week?” She told me she went running in the sun…to train her body to handle the heat. And I said: That’s your email. I imagined I was her, and this is what I would email my subscribers: TARGET AUDIENCE/ EMAIL SUBSCRIBERS :
I would write an email like this ..... You just need to share what you’re doing, your authentic human experience Because someone out there is thinking: “How do I run in the heat?” You’re not writing for everyone. You’re writing for someone just a few steps behind you. Now you’re probably thinking…
I’ve got you. My training covers all of it. And for the next few days, it’s 50% off with code: JUSTSTART Bonus: If you take it, write your first email before the end of the month, and send it to me… I’ll personally review it and give you feedback on how to monetize it and make it more engaging! (This is something I normally charge $500 for.) Before you go… I am really curious What’s actually stopping you from starting your newsletter? Just hit reply and tell me I read every response. Dear Reader, Today, I am going to share some great financial decisions I've made, some intentional, some by accident, in the hope that it can help you improve your finances, too! When you look online about making good financial decisions, people always talk about: automating your savings investing early putting your money into the right assets the power of compound interest yada yada yadaaaaa And yes… those things matter, but the reality is… All that stuff can be quite boring and unrelatable,...
I had already written the email, 'Ai told me not to worry about Ai,' but I decided not to send it, because I don't want all the AI enthusiasts/evangelists to come after me. O_O I am definitely not anti-AI, in fact, I recently discovered an AI automation to say that's going to save me 1 hour per day, so I love AI. Can't wait to learn more about how it can save me more time! BUT I have some thoughts on HOW some people are talking about it... You can read about it here if you want :) Anyway,...
Before I begin, many of you voted in a poll that you wanted me to share: ' The biggest financial mistake I made in 2024.' Without saying too much, now lawyers are involved, and we may be moving to litigation soon, so give me some time to let it play out. Once everything is done and dusted in the next 6 months, I will share if you are still here, reading these emails!
